Inplant Rail Wheel Flaw Detection System The Rail Wheel Inline system is based upon RTI's now 3rd generation 8000SX technology and brings you a new level of ultrasonic detectability. The system is a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) based Ultrasonic Rail Flaw Analysis system.
It integrates into the rail production line and performs ultrasonic rail flaw analysis of rails for internal defects post manufacturing. The 8000SX system can be interfaced into various production line systems via specialised tailor made ultrasonic testing frames. Our systems can further interface with PLC’s and system networks to provide powerful data re the integrity of the production.
The system enables feedback to the wheel maker on the quality of their product.
