The 8000SX DSP (Digital Signal Processor) based Ultrasonic Rail Flaw Analysis system is now in its third generation form and is a quantum leap in technology and is radically different to any Flaw Detection System on the market today. The system uses the latest DSP and large scale gate array technology. The function print Window signal processing power is unrivalled by any competitor technology. The system is an extremely powerful data collection and processing system. Each transducer input has its own DSP to process and analysis signals in real time. RTI has also designed its own unique structural processing architecture purpose designed specifically for Rail Flaw Detection. Made possible through the design of our own "Silicon Chips."
